Congregation Bais Ephraim Yitzchok (CBEY), under the leadership of Rabbi Zvi & Rebbetzin Paghit Ralbag, strives to be a warm and caring community shul that encourages davening and Torah study. Founded in 2000 in Woodmere, NY by families from varied yeshiva backgrounds, CBEY has grown to over 100 families, all dedicated to the ideal of living meaningful Jewish lives.

Mazal Tov!!
Mazal Tov to Briendy and Danial Jacobson on the birth of a granddaughter, Ava, to Elana and Aryeh Goldman!. A special Mazal Tov to the great-grandparents David and Debbie Goldstein. May the family be zochim le'gadlah le'torah, le'chuppah, ulma'asim tovim.
Shul Board Elections
We are now accepting nominations for the shul's board of directors. All those interested in running for the shul board should send an email to Mendy Berkowitz or Joe Zelefsky. The deadline for submitting nominations is May 17th.
Seating
Shul members who are looking for a makom kavuah are asked to email Mordy Schwartz here or call him at 917-533-4198. Please include seating preferences. Requests can be submitted until May 31st. Due to space restraints, makom kavuahs will not be used for Yomim Noraim.
Tea and Torah Volunteers
The CBEY Sisterhood is planning for its uplifting Tea and Torah series this summer and is looking for volunteers. Yom Yerushalayim Kiddush and Scholar in Residence Shabbos
CBEY’s annual Yom Yerushalayim celebration will take place this year on Shabbos, Parshas Behar-Bechukosai, May 24th. Rabbi Henry Abramson, a specialist in Jewish History and Thought serving as Dean of the Lander College of Arts and Sciences, will be the scholar in residence. If you’d like to help sponsor the Shabbos, please speak to David or Sarah Yastrab. Kiddush sponsors can send a check to the shul, or make an online payment of $40, selecting 'Yom Yerushalayim Kiddush' from the dropbdown menu.

Simcha Calendar

Private Simchas for Members
For private simchas, the cost for a one time use of the shul (weekday or one shabbos meal) is $350. For use of the shul for both shabbos meals, the cost is $700. Shul use is for Members or associate members only.
