Welcome to Congregation Bais Ephraim Yitzchok
Congregation Bais Ephraim Yitzchok (CBEY), under the leadership of Rabbi Zvi & Rebbetzin Paghit Ralbag, strives to be a warm and caring community shul that encourages davening and Torah study. Founded in 2000 in Woodmere, NY by families from varied yeshiva backgrounds, CBEY has grown to over 100 families, all dedicated to the ideal of living meaningful Jewish lives.

Baruch Dayan Emes
With profound sorrow, we regret to inform you of the passing of Benjamin Gelbtuch, beloved father of Daniel Gelbtuch.
From late Tuesday evening, 10/21, through Wednesday evening, 10/22, Daniel will be sitting shiva at 600 West 246th Street, Apt. 212, Riverdale, NY. Visitation hours: 9:30 am - 12:30 pm; 1:30 pm - 6:00 pm, and 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Shacharit: 7:30 am; Mincha/Maariv: 5:50 pm. There will be an additional minyan for Maariv only at 9:00pm on Tuesday.
From Thursday, 10/23 through Sunday morning, 10/26, the family will be sitting shiva at 1639 Ocean Boulevard, Atlantic Beach, NY. Shacharit: 7:30 am; Mincha/Maariv Thursday: 5:50 pm. Please allow the family an opportunity for a break during the following times: Thursday: 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm, 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm, after 10:30 pm; Friday: after 2:00 pm; Motzaei Shabbat: after midnight.
May the family be comforted among the mourners of Tzion and Yerushalayim.

Shevach V'Hoda'ah kiddush
There will be a gala kiddush in shul to give shevach v’hodaa to HKB”H for the homecoming of all of our living hostages. The kiddush will take place on Shabbos, Parshas Vayera, November 8th. To help sponsor the kiddush, please send a check to the shul, or make an online payment (suggested amount $36), selecting ‘V’shavu Banim L’gvulam’ from the dropdown menu.
